Zum Kreiswald in Rimbach

It was really good, I was extremely drunk and staggered home in the winter forest.

Last week we ordered the supply package, 4 meals for 2 people each plus 5l cider and 0.5l apple schnapps. The food was very good, the quality excellent. Anytime again.

Very nice restaurant, with very tasty food, great hand and cooked cheese. We have been going to the district forest for many years and are thrilled. Definitely try a schnapps. Everything was great and can only be recommended.

"You can pick up the drinks at the bar". So, no reservation, no table, that's currently ok. Drinks for the hikers, only at the table outside, are okay too. The blast is the arrogant, fresh hospitality of the young gentleman in front of the bar. This comes straight from the counter and empty-handed, outside and says: "The drinks are inside on the counter, please pick them up", so that the guest, together with him, has to run back to the restaurant. Good luck with this concept.

Cozy atmosphere, friendly service, good food and drinks. "Music" with the cooked cheese could use a bit more vinegar heat.

Apple pie was delicious, as was the pumpkin-filled pancakes and salad. 🤗 Service attentive 👍

We were there today and as soon as we entered we had the feeling that we were not welcome. In the half-empty restaurant on Sunday afternoon, we found the question of whether we had made a reservation superfluous. When I asked for a seat in the almost completely empty, sunlit beer garden, I received an unfriendly 'No' - nothing more. When I asked, I was told that there was no service outside. Why there were guests sitting there was answered with an outrageous story (including it rained in the morning ???). When the cake was over, we gladly left the inhospitable place. Rarely have the four of us hikers received such an unfriendly welcome as here. In any case, we won't stop there.

Wonderfully located. The food is delicious and the service is very friendly.

Apple potato sausage tasted very good and the Hutzel plums are also recommended. We always like to come here from Mannheim.

The Kreiswald is a very cozy restaurant with friendly service. We always like to come back here. The selection of dishes is very good and highly recommended. There are definitely 5 asterisks here.

Nice outside area. Service, cherry crumble cake unfortunately lousy. Ice cream was good, but cream melted. So 2 stars in Summer.

Very good food and very friendly service in a charming ambience in a very beautiful landscape. Unfortunately, the toilets in the courtyard and via a rather steep staircase are difficult to reach for disabled guests.

We ate good home-style food and were served in a friendly manner. Particularly noteworthy is the large selection of fruit growers that come from our own production and can be bought by the bottle. It's a shame that the beautiful courtyard is not seating. Covid-19 guidelines are followed here.

Supper Gasthaus

Nice cozy restaurant with a rural flair. We were invited on a birthday so the rating is based on a unique experience. Very friendly and nice staff, very attentive and courteous. The food was a little more experimental and really good despite "German" cuisine! It was convincing across the board and was also very tasty. If I get the opportunity to stop there again, I would of course do it and I would recommend it to others ... the restaurant is also idyllic and quiet in the middle of the green !! There are enough parking spaces ...
